Why did you choose this college?

“I was looking for a school with great academics and a great lacrosse team. Messiah fits the criteria for both. I instantly felt at home at Messiah. The atmosphere of the school and the team really fits me well as an individual. Messiah will also give me the opportunity to strengthen my faith and play the sport I love while giving glory to God.”

They have been there for every game, every tournament, and every showcase allowing me to have the best experience possible playing lacrosse. I would also like to thank my high school coach, Josh Danziger, for all he has done to help me along the way. He has been my biggest supporter and has helped me develop into the player and man I am today.I am extremely thankful for the man that taught me so much of what I know about lacrosse at such an early age, my youth coach Alan Geissel. And lastly, I would like to thank my club coaches, John and Dave Gallucci for all of they have done for me the past couple of summers and falls.”

Collin Wilcox (2015 Att) Commits to University of Alabama in Huntsville

Congrats to Collin Wilcox of Marist School on committing to Division ll University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Position:

Why did you choose this college?

“I chose UAH because it was the perfect environment to push myself in a comfortable but advanced academic setting while also providing me an incredible opportunity to be a part of a new program with huge potential to grow the sport in a non-hotbed area, similar to my time spent abroad in England, starting and growing my high school team. I wanted to be somewhere where I could have an impact from before day one to well after I graduate and UAH was the perfect place to do that.”
